Be My Valentine.
Before I begin with the post, I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has stuck with me through this crazy journey!! Kaily and I expanded PlatinumPair back in September and, as you can see, I haven't posted since then! I was in my third trimester and nearing the end of my pregnancy and doing anything but sleeping was EXHAUSTING!! Now that my little one is getting a bit older, I am slowly (but surely) finding times to pick back up with my hobbies. Did I mention I am writing this while she is fighting a nap and throwing a fit?? Let me just throw some reality out there! Life isn't as simple as pictures make them out to be!! However, I wouldn't have it any other way!
And, can we take a minute to allow our hearts to melt? That little blonde hair blue eyed beauty is my little Hendley Grace! I love her to pieces, she brings me so much joy:)
So, now for the real reason you are here;)
Shoes: My lace-up flats really inspired this whole look. I found these lovely's on Zulilly! If you have never been on Zulilly, you are definitely missing out!!
I loved how the flats matched the red details on my Kate Spade bag! I am such a sucker for little details and matchy-matchy things! I think it secretly makes my OCD happy:)
Top: My purple blouse is actually one I picked up during my first trimester at New York and Company! On mother's day of 2015, my husband took me out to buy clothes, since I was slowly growing out of mine! I wanted to buy things that I could wear again after pregnancy! I hated the thought of spending money on maternity clothes and only getting to wear them when I am pregnant and knowing just a few more months into the pregnancy, I would need more maternity clothes in bigger sizes! AND, have you SEEN the prices on maternity clothes!?
Nails: I can't help but brag about Nail Expo here in the Austin area! They did such an amazing job on the Valentine nail art! I love the teeny tiny hearts and the cursive "love" written on my thumb!! Mention my name or PlatinumPair and receive 15% off your mani or pedi!
