"Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn" -No one in Texas.
Anyone else trying to dismiss the heat and embrace the cute, comfy clothes that come with fall? Well, I tried. I know what you're thinking..."Haylee, you are wearing jean shorts. That's not exactly 'fall' clothing." I agree...HOWEVER....I did wear SLEEVES! I immediately regretted this decision after about 10 minutes of being here. I knew it would make for some cute pictures, so I stuck with it as long as possible:)
Jarron, Hendley, and I met Blake, Kaily, and Aria out at Sweet Berry Farm in Marblefalls, TX. It is both Hendley and Aria's first fall, so we thought it would be cute to get the little together and take their picture! Hendley was more impressed with the Hay than she was the pumpkins! Anyone else have this picture in your mind of these sweet moments you plan on capturing and then nothing goes as "planned" ?? Well, Hendley was a little afraid of the pumpkins and wouldn't even touch them! My idea of getting some cute pictures of her pulling up on the pumpkins was thrown out the window! We still had a blast and captured some great moments:)
I ended up bringing two outfits for Hendley. I know, I am THAT crazy mom. We have so many cute clothes for her, I just couldn't choose one outfit for pictures. Her halloween outfit was gifted to her by my mother:) She got it off Zulily, so I couldn't find all of the pieces, but I did link some down below:) I searched all over for her cute little skirt/bloomers but couldn't find the exact ones. If you go to Etsy and search for halloween bloomers you will find some that are JUST as adorable! Her sweater dress with matching bloomers from Hanna Andersson is my absolute favorite!!
After being there for about an hour or so, we were all STARVING, including little miss. She was getting hot and wanting to nurse, so we went over towards this picnic table that was in the shade and pretty far away from everyone (she gets distracted, so nursing means we have to find somewhere the is quiet!) Out of all of the tables we choose to sit at, we sit down at one and AS SOON as my bum hit the bench, a pecan falls and knocks Hendley on the head. It left a scab! But it was a little funny... :) Poor Hendley.
